How to Mount UHMWPE Bollard Pads with T-Bolt Capture

Overview

Step-by-step procedure

1. Machine T-slot in pad. CNC mill T-slot to match T-bolt head — no through-holes on face.
2. Install T-bolts in bollard. Tap bollard or use stainless inserts; thread up to face.
3. Slide pad over bolts. Pad slides on; bolts capture in T-slots.
4. Add end retainers. Bolted end caps prevent pad sliding off.
5. Torque pattern. Tighten in sequence; T-bolt capture allows thermal movement.
