Engineering recommendation

For most heavy-abrasion applications JSLT Marine recommends UHMWPE PE1000 due to lowest friction coefficient and longest field service life. For lower-cost projects with shorter service requirements, HDPE PE500 is acceptable. PA6 / PA66 are preferred where ambient or contact temperature exceeds 80 °C. POM is preferred where dimensional precision is critical.

Joining methodology

All UHMWPE and HDPE products from JSLT Marine are joined by mechanical fastening — counter-bored bolting, T-bolt capture, tongue-and-groove, fillet plates, or adhesive bonding. We do not rely on heat-fusion for structural integrity; mechanical fastening with stainless hardware delivers proven multi-year field life.
